Coastal Carolina Hospital, a 41-bed hospital, has been serving the medical and health care needs of Jasper and Beaufort counties since November 2004. About 200 physicians and medical professionals treat and refer patients to Coastal. In addition to our physicians, we have a workforce of over 375 colleagues and volunteer staff that support the hospital. Coastal Carolina Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation’s largest hospital accreditation agency, and is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
